Knight Muse Party Band is one of the region's most versatile professional function bands. Originally formed in 2002 as the covers band for North East Soiree, the band has provided music for weddings, parties, birthdays, functions and corporate events throughout the whole of the North East region from Northumberland to North Yorkshire.
The covers Band has both male and female vocalists, guitar, bass and drums and can perform a selection of jazz, rock, pop, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and up to date popular music and contains a Swing Jazz band and specialist Ceilidh Band at it's core. The band can jump from tune to tune depending on what the majority of people want to dance to that night. The band like to join in the party and the singers often mingle with dancers on the floor and encourage crowd singing with our radio mic. We just love a great party and the night is finished off with our own DJ and your own playlist choices for the DJ set.

This short compilation demonstrates how we like to mix in a couple of tunes to keep everyone dancing. This particular example was to end the night that was started with our String Quartet for the ceremony and drinks, then Ceilidh, then covers, then DJ for the last half hour till midnight. CEILIDH and COVERS

This is a mixture of Ceilidh and Party Band played between 7:30pm and midnight at one wedding in a Tipi - all recorded from a single video camera on a tripod so the visuals aren't great but will give an idea with short clips of each tune.
We start with the Ceilidh and then switch to the covers Party band. In the Ceilidh, we give full demonstrations and teach all the right moves before each dance and then give further instructions if required.

STRING QUARTET

Our very own String Quartet is a very popular addition to our evening band especially for weddings or corporate events. The Quartet can also slim down to form Duos or Trios to squeeze into little budgets.

An all time wedding classic - Pachelbel's Canon in D performed for the Entrance of the Bride at a wedding in Matfen Hall, Northumberland by our String Quartet. We are also happy to play outside and take requests from the guests while the Bride and Groom are being photographed all over the venue. we also play all sorts of modern pop and rock music, jazz, films and there is no extra charge for special requests as we arrange all our own music.
